About Us

Actually, I have five kids these two~ bring up the tail end of my baby making days, that ended at age 44! With the newest now 18 month old and our hobby ~I have started over three times~ ages are 23, 21,18,10 and 18 mo.! I am also, a NEW Gram and have a four month old grandson, thanks be to my oldest son!

I have always been 'Director', 'Manager', 'Owner' for the last 30 yrs. of some type of service and retail business ranging from Seamstress to Web Designer, Corporate retail to Business owner. I last owned a baby shoppe, where I sold retail designer clothing including my sewn treasures in children's clothing. After Camron was 3 months old I had to make the decision NOT to raise my baby under the retail counter! I made the BEST decision ever! It's because of your support and interest I am able to stay home and do what I love and bring to you a piece of treasured artwork.

My GREATEST INSPIRATION for ~this site~ is my GRAM! I was raised by my GRAM and she always wore an apron. Well, when I grew up and noticed her apron was getting a lil 'worn' I decided to make the both of us MATCHING Tulip APRONS. See, my GRAM lived some distance from me and I didn't see her as often and the thought of BOTH US wearing the SAME apron brought us CLOSER TOGETHER! I remember we would talk on the phone, everyday, she would tell me she was wearing her apron and ask me if I was wearing mine! <smile>

It was my GRAM who taught me, at the age of 12 yrs. how to SEW on her Mom's Singer Treadle sewing machine! She taught me to make my FIRST quilt (she hand quilted and I wanted something FASTER) and sew all my clothes. Enjoy photos of her sewing machine and our matching Tulip Aprons!

Designer fabrics and textiles are my passion! My Favorite designs of fabric come from Mary Engelbriet (my GRAM loved her Motto's and her personality reflected those Motto's) and so much FUN! I also, like whimsical BRIGHT colors and designs that SHOUT FUN! Fabrics from Timeless Treasures, Marcus Brothers, Michael Miller, Alexander Henry, Debbie Mumm & Amy Butler Collections! All my Aprons, Infant Covers, Toddler Covers, Piddle Pads, Stroller Covers, Quilts are made from designer 100% cotton fabric and come with SHOUT FUN TAG and washing instructions for you.
