Instructions

Using SCAL3, cut all pieces from SVGcuts cut files with your Craftwell eCraft.

I used these settings for the All pieces:
4-5 pressure
CSS
no tabs

1. Assemble the boxes first by folding over the scored lines the eCraft cut for you. Then glue the tab to a corner to form box for letters ‘H’ , ‘R’  and ‘I’.  The ‘C’, ‘R’ and ‘S’, use the shorter box.  And for the ‘I’ use taller box.  For the  ‘H’  just size it the same as the ‘I’.  DO NOT glue the ‘C’ and ‘S’, yet.

2. For the ‘C’ and ‘S’ punch larger hole with your Crop a Dile and set eyelets in the middle-top.  Then glue the corner tab to form box.

3. Prepare the back by placing the back piece INSIDE the box [for a more finished and contrasting look].  Repeat with each letter box.

4. Cut five more backs [all the same] and adhere to back of each box.

5. On the ‘C’ and  ‘S’ For the front of the box adhere the frame-looking piece and then the letter piece. 

6. Smooth out wire just enough to form it and twist the ends. First, one end through the eyelet on the ‘S’ and then though the ‘C’.

7. Create your personalized signature by stamping with Punkin’ Patch Stamp, emboss and heat. Ink the edges and run through Xyron sticker maker.  Zig-Zag around and adhere to the back of the name hanger.

8. Ink top edges Embellish as desired and You’re Done!

I have to say Little Yellow Bicyle is Perfect paper to cut with the eCraft!  The quality of the paper itself is Impressive!  I love the durability and Rich Color Tones and how Easy it is to cut with…Fantastic!

So, I made a framed remembrance and can also be used for Independence Day, too.  Just a lil ‘Happy’ to brighten someone’s day!

Instructions

1. Open SVGs in SCAL3 and leave them just the way they came in. Except you will have to size up the bear.  Gather all the bear parts and and join  then looking at the bear tummy size to 1.25″ and keep proportions.

2. Cut according to the printed papers and solids as listed above, in the ingredients.

3. I crumpled the bear pieces to make it look more like ‘fur’ and added an extra tummy piece so she looks a little fluffy.

4. With Xyron run the bear tummy, muzzle and ear parts through and adhere the legs and arms with glue.

5. The frame cuts out in ONE-piece and easily put together. Fold over the score lines and glue at corners.

6. Now, take the easel piece [this piece will stand up your frame] and fold on score lines and glue the triangle flap.

7. Use the stickers that came in the Echo Park mini kit to embellish and you’re done!

Two weeks ago, part of our amazing and talented design team inspired you with ways to mix and match Nikki’s awesome patterns.  This time, the rest of the team is going to toss it up a bit and show you how you can mix and match patterns – using different patterned and textured paper.

4. Cut ‘Get Well’ from the Alpha folder…Bonus! 

5. With Xyron run the letters through  and adhere to horseshoe

6. Embellish as desired and You’re Done!

My Project – Home Decor: Framed Art on Easel!

Check out these details!  The ‘Rolled Daisy’ is a cut file from Make My Time Easy’s very own goodies and you can get your’s here!  I just wanted to keep on adding and adding these fun-to-make flowers but decided to keep things clean and simple.  You can see where I went overboard with these same flowers HERE!   And the 3D Swing frame was just perfect to sit inside the larger frame.   I just love it!  Do You?

Today, I want to share my very First DT project for ‘Paper Piecings by Nikki’ !!  Yes, you read right- I’m designing for Nikki and working with her sweet team!

Instructions

Using SCAL3, cut all pieces from Paper Piecings by Nikki and SVGcuts cut files [in my case SVGs] with your Craftwell eCraft.
Nikki’s cut files come in several different formats SVG, AI, JPG and PDF to meet every Crafter’s needs. 

I used these settings for the All pieces:
4-5 pressure
CSS
no tabs

1. Assemble Nikki’s box first by folding over the scored lines the eCraft cut for you. Then glue the tabs and form box. 

2. Then, start on your front-face to make T-shirt.  The onesie from this file can easily altered to the T-shirt.  Just make a long on both sides and for the belt just create with your rectangle and shape.  Ink up all pieces and adhere to the base black shirt.

3. Prepare the back by stamping signature on one of the baseball shapes and adhering it to the back of this shirt.

4. Piece and Ink up all the pieces to the baseball ‘homerun’ guy and assemble on the front of the bag. For the eyes I used googly eyes….I thought it was a nice touch for a 7 year old! ha

5. Embellish as you desire!
I added the dot to the ‘i’ inside the glove and since I used Little Yellow Bicycle papers I added one of the banners from the same collection.  

6. Onto the  Lever Card!

7.  First, go to your Paper Piecings by Nikki ‘Homerun’ kit and grab the baseball file.  Then, In the SVGcuts ‘Ryan’s Playdate’ file grab the lever card svg. 
The way I altered it was broke the svg grouped the score lines in one group and the card in another.  Then set aside the ‘line’ groups and concentrate on the making the hole for the ball to go through.  Basically, it’s a half circle but only the one half is to cut  and on the other side of the card just cut a circle the same size as the baseball.  It’s really easier then it sounds but if this isn’t making sense please feel free to ask questions in the comment section and I will try my best to answer them. 

8.  Ink top edges Embellish as desired and You’re Done!

How about a spot of  Tea from this sweet strawberry tea pot  Card?!  

I had so much fun making these for my Mom and Mother-in-law.  Inside is a personal message and I used Cosmo Crickets ‘Garden Variety’ Chipboard baby chickens as accent.  I think they will love it.  On the back of course I used SVGcuts ‘ From the Cozy Craft Studio of____’ Stamp as my signature tag.  This card was so EASY and Fun to make!  Keep reading to find out how  you can make one for your Mom, too.

Instructions

1. Ok first thing I did, in the software, was ‘weld’ the tea pots handles together to form the card and create score line on the handle,  where the card will fold. 

2. Using SCAL3 [yes, it's compatible with the Craftwell eCraft and cuts like butter Every Time], cut all pieces from SVGcuts cut files [see list above] with your Craftwell eCraft.

I used these settings for the All pieces:
4-5 pressure
CSS
no tabs

3. Then, ink up all pieces in respective colors.  Like-Red for strawberry edges, green for leaves and brown for strawberry blossoms.

4. Now, it’s just like  puzzle.  Place a coordinating piece of yellow underneath the red [seeds] and then the ‘seed’ pieces on top of that, for dimension.

5. To form flowers squish them until crinkled and adhere to the flower base.  Add twine to buttons and adhere in the flower center.

6. Oh!  Another thing- to form the steam coming out of the spout I just doodled and cut out ‘Mom’ in a heart shape and adhered it to the piece of wire. 

 Embellish as desired and You’re Done!

I just love how this turned out and hope my Moms everything, too

Hurry…This is HUGE

I used my meger stash of Cosmo Cricket paper and Came up with this  Flip Flop Box!  Isn’t it the cutest thing you ever did see?  I love ‘flip flops’ and I just love this box, so Fun to make, of course using quality Cosmo Cricket papers and happy designs…Wheeeeeeeee!

The challenge called for Banners so I Knew I had to go grab my  ’Snorkel’ stuff.  Nooooooooo….not for ‘real’ snorkling [I wish].  Like I said I had very ‘few’ papers and one sheet of stickers.  So, I made quite a lot of embellishments by hand!

That border of life savor rings had to become a BANNER!  Yep! Take a Look, this is what I came up with.

My Project- ‘We Go Together like Flip and Flop’

Details

The Banner was created from the Snorkel borders sheet and continues around to the other side.   Cut in a Banner shape and adhere to the wire. Repeat 10 more times.  Punch hole in each middle [I just had to...a hole just had to be there] lol!

A ‘Laugh OUT Loud’ sticker was the perfect combination to accent the Fun and Happy Banner project.

More handmade embellishments:  I made this cutesy lil flower with my favorite wire by twisting it around to form petals and adhering a ‘real’ button in the center.  And even more handmade goodies include these 3D 1Sun and Cloud.  With my knife I cut the large sun out from the ‘Snorkel’ tag page and the small sun [shown in center] from the borders page.  Then I sewed around the large sun and adhered the small sun in the center.  Instead of sewing I followed the same process but inked up the clouds.  Also, the happy lil sea stars are fussy cut as well and curled a lil for dimension. 

*TIP* To make 3D embellishments use hot glue gun and form a ball in the center of the paper and blow on it or wait for a  minute [just so it's not completely dry].  Then, glue around the almost dried ball of glue and adhere!  Works like a charm and it’s Cheap OK- Thrifty! lol

The rain has fallen and the sunshine has now appeared and we have been planting our garden and flowers all over the place.  Also, we love birdhouses and my husband has some pretty unique ones- my favorite is his frog birdhouse…ha.   Anyway, I was out in the garden and gave me this idea of a birdhouse gift box.  I’m always sending something to someone so what better box then one like this.  I really like the way it turned out and I can’t wait to fill it full of goodies and gift to someone   You can make one, too just follow along my tutorial.   Ready?  Ok, Let’s go make a birdhouse box!

Instructions

Using SCAL3, cut all pieces from SVGcuts cut files with your Craftwell eCraft.   I made sure to take the  Bo Bunny ‘Alora’ Squiggles 12×12 sheet of print paper and place it upside down in your eCraft.  This will make sure the machine cuts only the upper portion of the piece of paper and that way you only use ONE paper for the entire box!  Pretty Cool Stuff-Easy Peasy!

Use these settings for the All pieces:
4 pressure
CSS
no tabs

1. Assemble the roof first by folding over the scored lines your eCraft cut for you.   Then glue the four thin sides and then the small tabs and finally the longer two end tabs to the inside of the roof. 

2. Prepare the front and back facing roof parts by drawing white dash marks along the tops and set aside.

3. Fussy cut a couple of the birds from the Alora papers, by using your Craftwell Essential Craft Tools  and set aside. 

4. Ink up the edges of the birds.  Run the birds through 1.5 sticker maker by Xyron and adhere to the center of the roof and the other bird just on the tree limb to face the existing bird.

5.  Create your personalized signature by stamping with Punkin’ Patch Stamp, emboss and heat.  Ink the edges and run through Xyron sticker maker.  Then adhere to the back of  the birdhouse.

6.  Using your Xyron Mega Runner adhere the side tab to the body of the birdhouse. 

7. Ink top edges

Create Petals and Stems

8. Ink the blue flower edges and with your fingers crimp the all the petals.  Repeat on all.

9. Hot glue smaller flower to larger and shape as desired.

10.  Wrap wire around the skewer 10 times.  Separate 3 rings for the flower center and 3 rings of wire on the bottom for the bottom of the stem.

11. Hot glue the top of the stem to the center of the flower and the bottom to the center of the flower center on the paper.

 Embellish as desired and You’re Done!
